When a child arrives at the hospital in distress, something as simple as a teddy bear can bring comfort, calm, and a sense of security.

Every donation helps the Guelph Optimist Club provide a teddy bear to a child visiting Guelph General Hospital during an emergency—any time of the year.

It was an honour to attend and present a $10,000 donation to Waverley Drive Public School to go towards building a new playground that will service Waverley Drive Public School and the local community for many, many years to come.

Introducing Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Canada is a free book gifting program devoted to inspiring a love of reading in young children. In partnership with local community partners, enrolled children receive monthly, a high quality, age-appropriate book in the mail, free of charge.

We are part of Optimist International, an organization serving children and youth in their local communities for over 100 years.
