The Guelph Optimists
We had the honour of being able to help a great organization in need. The Belwood Lodge and Camp provides a fun and inclusive summer camp experience for people of all ages with developmental disabilities since 1946.

We were able to donate $5,000 that will go towards a brand new stove for the Lodge and it's campers. But, the work doesn't stop there! The Belwood Lodge and Camp is in need of more help. They need everyone's help reaching their biggest goal of $300,000 to replace their septic tank by 2027 as required by the Ontario Ministry. They do not get government funding.

The many years Belwood Lodge & Camp has been in operation is proof of the importance of the program and more reason to help them achieve their goal.

Who We Are
The Optimist Cub of Guelph is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. Our club has been in service to our community for more than 75 years. We are part of Optimist International, an organization serving children and youth in their local communities for over 100 years.
